Canon’s unique five-color dye/pigment ink system uses four highly colorfast dye inks and a pigment-based Matte Black ink to optimize print image quality on all types of media. The intelligent L-COA (Large-format printer COmmon Architecture) controller, an exclusive Canon technology, optimizes image processing and print engine performance while directing the high-precision, super high-density FINE print head. With 15,360 nozzles, this print head achieves true 2400 x 1200 dpi images at remarkable print speeds.

Also, a 2400 dpi Image Quality mode creates crisp, brilliant images that are letter, legal, or ledger size.
